Children’s Choir Will
Furnish Music For
Mothers’ Day Program
The children’s choir of the R*K nold’s Memorial Baptist church > of Sperryville, with Mrs. C. E. ■ Johnson, Jr., as accompanist, twill furnish the music for the Mothers’ Day program in place of the regular choir on Sunday, May 14, at n 11 a.m.
The choir was organized .five months ago by Mrs. L. J. Kilby and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown of Sper. ryville, for the purpose of teaching the children religioud and recreational singing. Choir practice is held every Tuesday and much interest and enjoyment is shown by the 40 children, who attend the practices each week.
A. party is held once a month at one of the regular meetings of the choir for promoting goods, sportsmanship and wholesome recreation for which there is great need in the community.
