PANTHERS LOSS TWO GAMES
The ballgame of the season wm played last Friday by the Pan-% then of Washington High School and Front Royal. It was an exciting game to the finish. At the end of the 7th inning the score was 4-4. Charles Scroggins 'was showing good form with his 21 strike-outs and his triple, but by the 12th inning it seemed the kck was agjfcst the Panthers and Front Royal took a victory of 6-4.

Monday the Panthers played aMrshall but they were greatly outclassed. The score 20-3. One of these runs was a “homer” by Scroggins.
