To Missionary Circle
The Julia Haygood Missionary Circle of the Flint Hill Baptist church met at the home of Mrs. B. J. Wood in Flint Hill Monday evening.
The meeting was opened with the singing of the hymn, “What A friend We Have In Jesus.” The program was on the topic “Family Altar.”.
A social was held at the conclusion of the meeting.
Those present were Mrs. Fran, ces Gilbert, Mrs. £dna Moore, Miss Margaret Dodson, Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. Hazel Corbin and Mrs. Annie Moore.
Mrs. Lucy Jane Estes
Mrs. Lucy Jane Estes, 93, the daughter of the late George Racer, of Rappahannock, died Monday, May 1, at the home of her daughter at Linden. %
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal. Interment was in the Front Royal Cemetery.' Vs"'' ’’ Mrs. Estes is survived by six daughters and four sons and % nephew H.,J.Rater of Rappahan'nock. ~.. * ‘ Among the ones attending tire services were Mrs. H. J.
