Sprayer Demonstration
Held At Compton Farm
A Buffalo turbine sprayer was demonstrated at Floyd Compton’s orchard Tuesday. A similar demonstration had been held at the orcnard of H. B. Winfrey_at— Woodrille several weeks ago.
This type of sprayer is different from the usual method used in the county. It has been used in the north for some time, but Mr. Compton has the only one like it in the county. It usee a spray-like atomizer mist, and this demonstration was to show how well the mist would hit the tallest trees.
Floyd Compton has used a sprayer of this kind for some years and this demonstration was put on in reply to requests concerning the work of the sprayer. This type sprayer was used in the town of Washington some time ago to spray shade trees.
