Mrs. C. G. Reid was hostess to tho, members of the Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Flint Hill Methodist church at ’’Rose Cottage” Thursday evening. The program discussion was on Korea. There were 14 members and two visitors present. *
Correction
In reporting of the Sperryville Fire Company party last week it was said that ’’Mutt” Atkins was a brother of Bob Estes, the gentleman who was given the tele-' Vision set. “Mutt" did make Bob pay the 9$ bet to the fire company but he is not Bob’s brother. 71* certain neither one would be sorry tp claim the kinship; it just ia not true. The News promises to be more careful in the future.
