A special preaching; S«v vice sponsored by the missionary

A special preaching; S«v vice sponsored by the missionary circle of the First Baptist church of Washington will be held at the churclt Sunday, July 30, at 11 a.ni. with Rev. Philip Baltimore of Happy Creek officiating.

The Rappahannock Agriculture Council will meet at the First Baptist church in Washington oil Friday, July 28, at 8 p.m.

The Sperryville Tigers will play the Merryfield team on Sunday afternoon, July 30, at Pine Knot.

Rev. T. L. Proctor, pastor of Macedonia Baptist church of Flint Hill, accompanied by his choir, conducted services at Waterloo Baptist church Sunday afternoon.

Richard Aylor of Washington, D. C., spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Aylor at Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Beasley who were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Dearing, were accompanied home by Mrs. Dearing and Charlotte Barbour who spent the week end in Washington, D. C. ;
