5. The Commissioner is authorized to establish trial ground for testing seeds for triteness to kind and variety or /or variety or for hybrid designation and also to publish results of studies made. (A co-operative project between the state department of agriculture and experiment station was start-. - ed in 1349 to test these varieties.)
6. Persons responsible for tagging seed corn hybrids must file annually with the Commissioner, prior to offering the seed for sale, I. statement giving the non-code pedigree of the hybrid. Also the lot number which the seed -received from eaoh grower is to be sold and the approximate number of bushels of shelled corn in each lot. _ 7. The Commissioner may at d»is discretion, require the seller of seed of all corn hybrids which are to be offered for sale to furnish him with a three-pound sample for each hybrid together with specific and pertinent information. The Commissioner may further require the producer of hybrid seed corn to furnish him with a 1,000 viale kernel sample correctly labeled as to pedigree of the single crosses used in making a hybrid. • 8.
