ENTERTAINS AT BRIDGE SUPPER

Mr. and Mrs. John Davis entained at a Hallowe’en costume bridge supper party at their home “Hawthorne” Saturday, Oct. 28, having as their guests, Dr. and Mrs. John Snead, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Estes, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. J. Rhodes Brown, Mr. and Mrs.3 R. —E. Wood, Mrs. Jaenie Jarvis, and Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Quaintance.

The Davis home was decorated in corn and pumpkins, and fall flowers. The prize for best costume was awarded to Dyke Quaintance, who was dressed as a very lovely lady in evening clothes. The prizes for bridge were won by Dr. and Mrs. John Snead, both being awarded first prize.
