WHEREAS, the Amissville Bap* tist church of the Shiloh Association sustained a jgreat loss in the passing of their beloved brother Charlie Latham on August 24, 19<50, and • Whereas, We will miss his Christian personality, his consecration to his Master, his faithfulness, his willingness to serve and his love for the church; and

WHEREAS, It has pleased our Heavenly Father, to call him to the life beyond, we know that in his going our loss is his gain. «

THEREFORE, Be It Resolved:

First: That we shall always cherish the memory of our faithful member and co-worker as one who was a true generous friend, full of good works and untiring in his efforts for the uplift of mankind.

Second: That while we sadly miss his pleasant countenance and leadership, we bow in humble submission and reverence to Him who doeth all things well.

Third: That we extend our deepest sympathy to his mother, praying that God in His infinite love and mercy will confront and sustain her.

Fourth: That a copy of .these resolutions be sent to the family, a copy to the Religious Herald and a copy to the Rappahannock News.
