Mrs. John Johnson received a message Sunday that her son Bryan of Norfolk, underwent a major operation in a hospital in that city on Saturday. His condition is very satisfactory.
Rev. John A. St. Clair, of Rocky Mount, who was the visiting minister each evening last week at .Oakley Baptist ehurch \yas sat over night guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Friday night, returning to his home Saturday.
