Civil Service Announces
New Clerical Exams .
A new examination for clerical positions in the Federal government in the Washington, D. C., area has* been announced by the U. S. Civil Service Commission.
Rep. Burr P. Harrison states it represents “the best Federal employment opportunity for persons who are not stenographers or typists and do not have experience in professional or technical fields.” —Applicants for the test, which will be given in Washington, should file with the U. S. Civil Service Commission, Washington 25, D. C., the card form 5000-AB, available from the commission and at many post offices, Mr. Harrison said.
The positions pay from $2,200 to $2,875 a year.
Applicants must have reached the 18th birthday and must not have passed the 62nd birthday.
