Mrs. Florence Johnson is much improved, she wss visited on Friday evening in the hospital by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson, Miss* es Mattie Rector, Ruby and Charlotte Pullen and Mary Anna Jenkins.
-Mrs. C. B. Johnson taught for Miss Lillie Johnson on Tuesday and Wednesday,' Miss Johnson was absent on account of illness.
Clarence E. Giles, a patient at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Md., spent the iweek-end with his family. Sunday evening Mr. Giles returned to the hospital, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hawkins and Ronnie—and Mr*. Giles and Skippy.
Mrs. W. G. Pendleton, Mrs. C. J. Miller, Miss Mary Miller Wood, * Mrs. J. W. Price and Miss Beth Owen attended Headley antique sale in Winchester Thursday night.
Mrs. Florence Johnson arrived at the home of her son- and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson Tuesday evening, from the Front Royal hospital, where she had been a patient for the past several weeks, she is improving very satisfactorily.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Jones and small daughter, and Robert Bruce of Front Royal, visited Mrs.'S. G. Bruce on Sunday. Mrs. Bruce, who is recovering from a long illness in the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. C. Ennis ' rown, wishes tothank her many friends for all remembrances such as cards, flowers and fruit.
Miss Charlotte Golladay spent the week end in Norfolk with friends.
Mrs. Dudley Pullen and daughter Audrey were Friday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
