Enfertain At Bridge

* Mr. and Mr*. Charles Wood en. torteined at a bridge Valentine supper Wednesday evening, February 14. The house was very attactively decorated in red and white decorations. The talleys^ 'i^were of red felt decorated with ~ • lace around the edge.

A prize was given for the person writing the best valentine Verse, this prize was won by E. WL ~ • Jones. The guests of Mr. and Mrs. -Wood included Mr. and Mrs. R. El Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Janies W. Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. John S. Browning, ^Mr. and— Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. Robert Massie, Miss Minnie Williams, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. E. R. Browning, and Jack Taylor.

Prizes were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones, high for ladies : and men; Mrs. E. M. Browning, traveling.

On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Wood entertained a group of friends for bridge, having as gpests Mrs. Fisher Burford, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mis. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mr. and - Mrs. W. A. Moore, Lide Dearing, Miss Nancy Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny McGehee, Mr. and Mrs. Brue Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mr. and Mrs. William Gilbert, Jr., and Mrs. David Corbin.

Prizes - for the evening * wore won by Mrs. W. A. Moore, best valentine verse; Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., high for ladies; Claude Cook, high for men, and W. A. Moore traveling. *

Entertain Bridge Club

* Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones entained the bridge club at their home Saturday evening, having as guests Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. John DeBergh, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Lyne, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Maude Gore, and Mrs. C. H. H.. Branch. Prizes were won by Mrs. Snead, high for ladies; John DeBergh, high for men; E. M. Jones, low for men, and Mrs. DeBergh, low for ladies.
