John Walker, 81, died at his home April 24, after an illness o; some time. Services were conducted from t:.e Baptist church, burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Luther Banks officiated. Mrs. Alice Walker and seven children survive. The children are Mfs. Amar.da Penton of Washington, D.O.; Mrs. Ethel Morriscn of New York; Mrs. Dorothy Grant of Scrabble; Mrs. Iva Fletcher of Harrisburg, Pa.; William Wralker of Washington, D.C.; Frank Walker, who lived with his parents; 14 grandchildren and five great grandcimldTehi Pallbearers were* W illiam Hunter, Charlie Roberts, Harvey Clanagan, Hugh Starks, Herman Patterson, and McKinley Weathers.
SPECIAL SERVICES
Special services (will ibe held at Shiloh Baptist church Woodville Sunday, May 6, at 8 o’clock. Sermon by Rev. C. H. Sanford. The services are for the benefit of the Citizens League.
