The Shiloh Association has met with the F. T. church six times. In 1791 this organization, known then as the Orange Association, was divided to form the Culpeper, Goshen, and Albemarle associations. In 1809, when the association first met with F. T., it was the Culpeper Association. In 1812 the name was changed to the Shiloh Association and has remained the name until this day. This association met with F. T. church again in 1818, 1835, 1891 and 1925.
F. T. Church has been served by sixteen pastors. George Eve, William Mason, Silas Bruce, Thaddeus Herndon, Richard Herndon, A. H. Spillman, Aldridge Grimsley, T. W. Lewis, H. T. Louthan, S. M. Athey, Charles W. Collier, Mr. Wiltshire, W. J. Reynolds, George Cook, P. H. Chelf, and A. Paul Thompson.
The first known building was built in the shape of the Cross. It had to be torn down and"the“present" building' 'replaced it in 1882. This was done under the leadership of the Reverend T. W. Lewis. There are a few in the congregation who can remember the old cross-shaped structure.
