Tour of County Homes
With the theme, “Heritage of Homes,” the second annual Garden Club tour of homes and gardens in Rappahannock will be held Thursday, May 10, from 10:30 in the morning to 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
Five homes and one flower garden in the county will be open to guests. These are:
“Kenmore”— home of Mrs. Alexander Gordon, near Huntly.
“Spring House Farm”—home of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith, near Massie’s Corner.
“Rose Hill”—home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall, between Massie’s Corner and Washington.
“Millermead”— home of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller, on Mt. Salem Avenue in Washington.
The flower garden of Mrs. R. V. Snead, in Washington.
“Millbank”—home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Estes, near Sperryville.
Directions^ along the highways will be marked with white signs and green letters to enable guests to locate 'the hostess homes for the Garden Club tour.
