A committee of fanners have set up a group of proposals to be presented at a county-wide meeting September 21 for approval by the rest of the farmers of the county.

The committee formulating the set of resolutions is the one elected at the first county-wide meeting held in regard to the no*wmuch-discussed Family Farm Policy Review.

Using words that most people thought had become obsolete, so far as the government was concerned', the farmers called for economy, curtailment of expenditures, and abolishment of any farm-agricultural policy that can be eliminated. The farmers even agreed to begin and offer themselves as a group of volunteer taxpayers, to make sacrifices in order that the national debt may be reduced.
