Infant Baptism
Services of Infant Baptism were held Saturday afternoon, September 15, at 3:30 o’clock for Edward Jenner Wood HI, son of and Miss Louise Strother Miller. Wood.
Dr. W. G. Pendleton baptized the baby in Trinity Episcopal Ghurch, Bromfteld Parish, Washington, Virginia.
Sponsors were Edward Jenner Wood, Jr., John B. Eshelman, and Miss Louise Strother MUer. The baby wore the dress which his grandfather, Dr. Edward Jenner Wood, wore at his baptism.
Following the services, tea was served at “Millermead,” home of the baby’s maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jackson Miller.
Edward Jenner Wood III was born July 26, 1961.
