The donkeys are coming l Each one is a graduate of the Orange J. Ranch “Donkey College” and is a past master at his own particular specialty* whether it is base istealing, sliding, bucking, or just plain standing still.
Donkeys are to be used in a softball game sponsored by the Sperryville Fire Company on October 5.
All the players, excepting the pitcher and catcher are to be mounted on the donkeys and are lo 'run bases, field balls, and make all other plays while riding on the donkeys. The players have to cope with the donkey’s idea* as to what should be dohe on the field and in the gams.
The game Will be at night tinder lights.
