wings at Rappahannock High School. Miss Louise Cloud, daughter of C. H. Gloud in the F.T. Valley, has graduated' from R.H. S. and we knew school wouldn’t take her away from us. She’s already gotten a generous portion of ink and grease plastered on her and she’s tackled the keyboard of the linotype.
It’s a fascinating business she’s started, and the little printersdevil will probably get “ink in her veins” if she stays around a print shop long.
The former printer, Jack Barber, who is now one of his rich Uncle Sam's Air-Corps boys, has proved that the ink is Well in him—probably for the rest of his life. Upon arrival at his new post in Idaho, he found himself stationed in a little town of 1>500. Walking down the street, he spied a “shirt-tail” weekly, and, of course, he went in. He found the editor trying to put out the paper, minus his help. Jack could not help it, years of habit were too strong1, he went to work and ran the press, helping the otd man get out his paper.
