Construction Begins

On Sunday School Rooms

• The building committee of WashingtonBaptist church, W. C. Campbell, E. M- Jones, and Rayner V’. Snead, state that ground has been broken for the new addition to the church, consisting of four Sunday School rooms, two rest rooms, and a small kitchen. The contractor is George Hawkins of Sperryville, and B. N. Eubank of Roanoke, the architect.

The plan is devised so that four rooms joined together, in pairs, can be converted, if desired, into two rooms, 15x30 feet. The approximate cost will be $13,* 000, of which over half has not been raised. The committee states that help in any way will be greatly appreciated.
