“I can’t get help; can’t keep it when 1 do get it; what I do get is irresponsible, shiftless, and wants exhorbitant wages for doing a minimum of work carelessly. 1 haven’t camp facilities; can’t find or keep a camp cook; and haven’t the time at harvest to buy the daily camp supplies. I haven't up-to-date grading - and - packing* machinery nor the shed space for packing; and can’t afford to buy; it now. If I pack, I’m stuck with! all the half-price table culls. That fill adds up to too much. I’ll sell to the canners.”
