Frances Elizabeth Tapp
Miss Frances Elisabeth Tapp, of Amissville, died early Monday morning at the Physician’s Hospital, Warrenton, where she had been a patient for only a few hours after suffering an acute heart attack at her home Sunday afternoon. Her death was a great shock to her family and many devoted friends.
Her pastor Rev. Norman J. Flythe, assisted by Rev. Earl Henely conducted funeral services for her Wednesday afternoon at 2:80 p.m. from Amissville Methodist Church. The Church choir rendered several song selections. The large assemblage attending the services attested to the esteem in which she was held and to her many sterling Christain qualities which endeared her to all. Interment was made in the Amissville M. E. Church Cemetery.
Miss Tapp was the daughter of Mrs. Nettie Gray Leach Tapp and the late Francis Marion Tapp of Amissville and was 47 years of age.
Besides her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Edward Tapp of Amissville and Maddox Tapp of Front Royal.
