hut wrote ana request to the Board from G. D. Edwards, Superintendent of the Shenandoah National Park, to the effect that the piece of county road on route 600 used by Park and Okley Bowen remains open as it was needed in case'of fire and such purposes. J. P. Cook made the motion seconed by H. B. Wood and unanimously carried that a fetter be written to Mr. Edwards stating that if the Park will allow Mr. Bowen free access to the portion owned by the park that the Board of Supervisors would recommend not closing the portion owned by the county.
Superintendent Q. D. Gasque appeared before the board requesting the Board of Supervisors to meet wdth the School Board to discuss a building and repair plan for the ^schools in the county, as the revenue on hand from the Battle Fund has to be used by a certain date. The Supervisors consented to meet with them either at 9 a.m. Friday, July 11 or at the same hour on July 16. Date decided on by the School Board- _
Game Warden G Ennis Browh presented the following claims: Louemma Williams haul eight chickens killed by dogs which the board consented to pay 35c a head, making a total of $2.80.
Joe D. Keyser had a elghtjr-five pound lamb killed by dogs. The market price of 28c was decided by the Board making a total of $23.80.
