Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Yates of Flint Hill, who died Friday, June 27, at Casualty Hospital, Washington, D. C, were conducted from Macedonia Baptist Chudch, Flint Hill, Monday, June 30 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Proctor officiating, assisted by Rev. Luther Banks of Amissville. Music w'as furnished by the choir of the First Baptist Church, Washington, of which the deceased was a member.
Wrs. Yates is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Bessie • Yancey of Washington, D. C- arid Mrs. Eva ■* Hill of Pittsburg, Pa.; One son: Jessie Yates Brown and William Hill; and one sister, Mrs. Ema V. Clark of Harrisburg, Pa. Pallbearers were Frank Allsberry, Carter Brown, William Turner, Roy Jordan, William Roberts and Clarence Starks.
The First Baptst Church of Washington will be hold a baptising at Cooper’s Hole, Sunday at 9 a.m., conducted by Rev. R. C. Davis.
