Those in charge of administering the money for this work just ain’t gonna spend it unles3 citizens prove they rtally want a survey and will use it after they get itv. - \
Money is appropriated in small quantities for these County -soil surveys, which means only one or two counties can he surveyed at a time, so the county that howls the longest and and loudest will probably get the survey first. Several other counties are interested, but Rappahannock farmers know the value of having the soil typed for them, and they are prepared to “turn on the pressure.”
A soil survey names every type of soil on every -spot of land, and it gives the farmer a complete and instant picture of his soil in order that he may plant what will grow best and produce the most.
