Sixty members of the Rappahannock F.H.A. Chapter enjoyed a trip to James Wood High School at Winchester, on Thursday, November 6, where the WRFC Federation was held. Catherine Lillard, Barbara , Griffith, Lelia Gentry and Bonnie Gentry took part in the program. Bonnie also gave a very interesting talk on her visit to FHA camp which was held at Snfiithfield, this summer. For our part in the talents, Ann Yates sang a solo entitled, "Night and Day.”
John R. DeBergh is teaching in the absence of Mrs. H. B. Winfrey who is undergoing an operation at the. University Hospital in Charlottesville.
Pupils of the high school did excellent in their magazine campaign. The total sales amounted to $434.05. The high salesman for the boys was Galley Smith with $35.25 and for the girls was Faye Black with $26.25. They both received beautiful trophies for their good work. The pupils of Room 8M won first place with $96.55, Room 9, second with $83.50. Two pupils, Jimmy Yates and Galley Smith are entitled to Certificates of
