No Hunting Season Moved
Unless Rain Relieves
Drought — ■“*p
Nd deer season opens November 17, nor regular hunting season November 20, unless the present ban is lifted by rain.
According to the statement issued October 24, which has not been changed to date, the extreme dry condition of the land makes hunting a fire hazard.
Game Warden C. Ennis Brown suggests that a hunter telephone him (Sperryville-2741) to check if the ban is lifted.
The woods and fields a’re dangerously dry and the small amount of rain which has fallen has not materially helped.
