Mam purpose of the new regulations, which are in force in most of the states, are to aid in law enforcement and' as a means of making a check of the annual kill to assist in managing the various game species.
If sufficient rain allows hunting, the deer season in Rappahannock will begin Monday, November 17 and end Friday, November 21. (Five days.) The regular hunting &ason will begin November 20, also if there is sufficient rain.

MOVES TO NEW HOME
,Mr. and Mrs. William Groves moved into their new home on Monday at Bealton, where Mr. Groves and a brother will take over the farm of their father, Ottaway Groves. Mrs. Groves is the former Miss Mary Whorton. Miss Gladys Payne succeeds Mrs. Groves at Hampton Inn and Service Station.
