At this historic former cavalry post outside Cheyenne, the Air Force is training young airmen in the many specialties needed for air power. Resides clerical skills such as clerktypist, Clerk-stenographer, and administrative srecialist, the schools at Warren Air Force Base train automo h i 1 e mechanics, powerman, electricians, teletype operators and repairmen.

Frankfurt, Germany—Cpl. James A. Gatewood, son of Harrison Gatewood, Washington, is a member of the rifle squad which placed first in Army competition in Frankfurt recently.

Teams from throughout the 4th Infantry Division competed in the event, which was part of an Organization Dav prog^m commemorating •the division’s 35th anniversary.

Gatewood, a rifleman with the 8th Infantry Regiment's Company K, entered the Army in June, 1948. He is stationed in Fried berg, Germany.
