Hospitalize Two Persons
Oscar D. Hill jr., (colored) of Culpeper, is in the Waren County Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, as a result of a broken rib, lacerations, head and chest injuries received whA the truck owned by C. S. Yates of Culpeper, driven by him, skidded on the highway, two miles east of Washington, at “Rose Hill” into a truck owned by the Novick Transfer Truck Co. Trooper William A. Buntin reported around $500 property damage was done and Hill was given a ticket. Higgs, the driver of the Novick Transfer Truck, suffered minor injuries of both knees and received local treatment.
The second car accident on Monday was on route. 231, five miles south of Sperryviile, Trooper William Buntin reports this accident as H. D. Nichols of Strasburg wras driving the car owned by Frank Stover, who also lives in Strasburg. The car skidded • on the wet pavement, turned over and hit the bridge. Patsie Nichols, his daughter, was in the car and received injuries of back and neck. She was ,admitted to Warren County Hospital also. Her condition is satisfactory.
