Wayne Brown, who is stationed at a camp in Georgia, is spending a 30 day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown. Mrs. Thomas Cozzo, who is recovering from an illness at her home in Washington D. C., is spending some time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor, who also had as their, week-end guest, Miss Joan Aylor, also of Washington, D. C. On Thursday Mrs. Aylor and Mrs. Cozzo were in Winchester shopping and were supper guests of Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins.
Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor Jr. were in Lynchburg for the weekend and to return with their small daughter, “Stevie,” who spent last week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Edwards.
F. D. Coffey, who has a position with the State Highway Department and stationed at Leesburg, is at home on the sick list. ^
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Martinsburg, West Virginia spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs, A. M. Welch.
Mrs. Maury W. Brown, Mrs. Helen Bruce, Mrs. E. W. Gore and Henry Brown motored to Richmond to visit Maury Brown on Sunday who is much improved at McGuire Hospital.
Miss Jean Brown was a guest of her cousin, Miss Mary Helen Bruce at “Barlow.”
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wiley of York, Pennsylvania, who were enroute to their winter home in Florida, stopped over for a few days visit last week with Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. John Howard, who spent a week with Mrs. Howard, left on Wednesday for his home in Bedford.
