Soil Meeting
County Agent W. H. Lyne and Assistant County Agent Ben Weddle conducted a theoretical and practical school, so to speak, on Tuesday and Wednesday, on “Know Your Soil.” Soil experts and other officials were the instructors. —^
On Tuesday, County Agents from the surrounding counties and all committeemen and agriculture officials in the county were present. Wednesday county agriculture officials and the 4-H club and FFA boys'were present. At 10 am. both days the men assembled over the fire house where Mr. l*yne presented the subject with an explanation of what it was all about.
The professors, who are experts in different phases of the soil, presented the theoretical lesson, which was to be put in practice in the afternoons by the class. The soils were explained in details by words, charts and the various other methods. They were
