Mrs. Clarence Gough, clothing leader, gave a demonstration, “Altering Patterns” to the Washington H. D. club Wednesday night. All members present expressed their desire to attend the District Meeting in Madison on May 6th and to go on tour to Charlottesville gardens during garden Week. Next meeting will be held on Monday, May 4.

Latest report concerning the conditions of Earnest Nichols and Mrs. Will Stevens Jenkins is satisfactory. Mr. Nicholson and Mrs. Jenkins, who were attacked by a wildcat on last Monday night and Tuesday morning are being treated by their physicians. Mr. Nicholson is having to take fourteen shots for rabies' and Mrs. Jenkins twenty-one shots.
New Health Director
Begins County Duties
Dr. L. T. Giles, director of the health department for the three countes of Prince William, Fauquier and Rappahannock was in the county Monday beginning his new duties. Dr. Giles replaces Dr. Johnson. Dr. Giles was in attendance at the Supervisors' meeting and was greeted by the board members. He was accompanied by the county health nurse, Mrs. Frances B. Thornton.
AUXILIARY MEETING * The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rappahannock Fire Company will be held Tuesday, April 14, at 7 :30 p.m.
