CARVER P.T.A. PRESENTS “A READY MADE FAMILY” On Friday, March 27* the P.-T. A. of the Carver Regional High School, Culpeper, presented what spectators acclaimed as one of the most entrtaining performances of fhe year. The hilarious comedy, "A Ready Made Family,” by Jay Tabias, under the direction of Mrs. Viola Price Blair and Mrs. Sandra Bowen Mason, was tast as follows: Agnes Martyn, Mrs. •Geraldine Washington; Marilee Martyn, Mrs. Olivia Williams; Bob Martyn, Mr. Calvin H. Finlay; Grade Martyn, Mrs, Eula Young; Henry Turner, Mr. I. C. Young; Sammy Turner, Mr. Layne Beck, Sr.; Doris Turner, Mrs. Mary Carpenter; Begonia Washington, Mbs Cathleen Tasker; Nicodemas, Mr. C C Lewis.

The players were lauded for their -excellent portrayals and have been asked to giye a repeat preformance.

The purpose of this project was to aid the Band in securing instruments.

Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Turner will celebrate their 26th anniversary on April 17 at the Elks ceremonies.

Dinner guests on Easter Sunday of Mrs. Hattie Jackson were Mr. and Mrs. James Clark and Brue Grant of Scrabble, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hunter and family of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jackson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Wigington and Son, Johnnie Jr., and Junior Mathews of Burke. On Monday her guests were Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Jackson and family of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Forest Haney and three children of Sperryville.

Miss Yvonne Carter was a weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Carter.

Dazzie D. Richardson was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Richardson.
