George Russel! Lee Woodward, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, April 1, at University Hospital where he h»d gone that morning for a check-up following a brief illness. 'Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Geest Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. Franklin „Q*le and Rev. J.' H. Daily conducting the last rites. Interment was in the family section of Fairview cemetery. Mr. Woodward, 54, was the son of the late James Mathew Woodard and Mrs. Mary Frances Dodson Woodard of Rappahannock County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louemma Jenkins Woodard of Culpeper,* five daughters, two sons, two brothers and 12 grandchildren. Mrs. Ned Woodard of Sperryville is a daughter; and Jack Woodard of Sperryivlle, is • brother.

On Sunday evening the Coffeys and W. N. Rector had as their supper guests Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and children who were enroute to their home in Flint Hill after attending the funeral of George Woodward in Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler and their son and daughter, Bob and Linda and Miss Barbara Swindler of Brentwood, Maryland were overnight guests on Saturday of Mrs. O. B. Swindler at her home.

Miss Anna Belle Estes entertained a dinner company on Easter Sunday. Her guests were Rev. and Mrs. David Menchhofe# Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers, Margaret Ann and Buddy Devers, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler and? their son, Bill, Mrs. Russell Swindler, Linda and Bob Swindler.

Mrs. Lee Swindler, Bill Swindler, and Bob Estes were overnight guests on Tuesday of Miss Hazel Kesner of Newport News.

Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr., visited her father, Robert Nethers on Saturday night at the Warren Memorial hospital in Front Royal.

Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were their daughters, Mrs. Thomas Cozzo and Miss Joan Aylor of Washington, D. C

Ms and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser were supper guesb on Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Martinsburg were week end .guests of Mrs.- Annie M. Welch.
