Killed in County
A report has returned from the Lurmy Laboratory stating that a gray fox, carried to the lab Monday by Game Warden C. Ennis Brown, showed positive signs of rabies. *
The gray fox had bit four dogs owned by James Campbell at Woodville.
The report was sent to the health department Tuesday.

Ball Team
- D. Lyle Miller, Jr. (“Bee"), and B. H. Weddle have accepted the invitation to be co-managers of the county fireman’s baseball team, sponsored by the fire companies of Amissville, Sperryville, and Washington.
At the last meeting <of the firemen and those interested, in the baseball team, it was decided that uniforms would be purchased for the players. Charlie Jenkins was appointed to order the uniforms.
First practice will foe Sunday. April 12, at 2 o’clock on the Rappahannock High School diamond. Because of Easter it was postponed from last Sunday, as first decided.
Co-Managers Miller and Weddle have reqtfested all who wish to go out for the team to be present, or let their wishes be known this Sunday in order that plans may be made and uniforms ordered.
