•’ We, tile undersigned, J. Ray Larcombe, Chairman, and James W. Fletcher, Secretary of the Democratic Legislative District comprised of the counties of Fauquier and Rappahannock, do hereby certify that the following is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted at a meeting of the said Committee held at the office of James W. Fletcher, at Sperryville, Virginia, on the 2nd day of April, 1953.
“Resolved that the nomination of the member of the House of Delegates of Virginia from the Legislative District comprised • of the counties of Fauquier and Rappahannock, to be voted upon in the General Election to be held in said Legislative District on November 2, 1353, and shall be by direct primary method, and that the Primary for the nomination of said Democratic Candidate for said office shall be held on July 14, 19*53, pursuant to the provisions of the State Primary law, and that all candidates for said office shall file their declaration of candidacy with J. Ray Larcombe, Chairman of the Democratic Legislative District Committee for the Counties of Fauquier and Rappahannock, Warrenton, Virginia, at least ninety (90) days' before the said Primary to be held on July 14, 1353, and that if not more than one candidate files for said position, he be declared the Democratic nominee of the Party of the House of Delegates of Virginia from the aforesaid District.”*
