The Washington Rescue Squad has recently purchased an Emerson Resuscitator, which cafn he used when breathing stops, to relieve smoke suffocation, heart failure, drowning, asphyxia of newborn babies/ and numerous neighborhood accidents. The Squad and various individuals fjave raised $350 towards the financing of this equipment; however, $100 is still needed to complete payment. Among those who have contributed are Miss Essie Estes, Herndon Hudson, Bill Lyne, W. C. Campbell, Mrs. John A. Keyser, S. E. Hebing and Cab-Inn. «

Miss Polly Nethers entertained the Flint Hill Fllowship group on Thursday evening. Those present were Misses Dolly Lillard, Paula Miller, Betty Lou Atkins, Jean Presgrave, and Dorothy Ann Atkins, Glenn Williams, Jerry Atkins, Dudley Wood, G. W. Smith, III, Buddy Moofe and Johnny Browning.
