4-H Give Program

The 4-H club gave a very interesting program to the Flint Hill P.T.A. on Tuesday, March 2. Mrs. Gentry ’ was in charge of the get-acquainted games and the following program was given: Why 4-H Club Week—Paula Miller; The Work of County Councils—Lelia Gentry; What Each 4-H’er Does— Doris Atkins; Opportunities for Parents to Assist Members—Mrs. Carson Lillard; Demonstration on sprinkling a shirt—Jean Lillard; Demonstration on Ironing a Shirt— Mary Francis Pullen; Boys’ Projects—Eddie Sutphin; Demonstration on wiring a lamp—Ivory Atkins.

Entertain At Bingo

Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer entertained at a bingo party Friday night for her small daughter, Susan, with the following youngsters invited: Kay Johnston, Tish Kilby, Diane Bruce, Lillian Reeve, Dorothy Reeve, and Ann Davis; Mike Brown, David Lyne, Jackie Brown and Eddie Gore. After a number of games, Mrs. Schaefer served the youths refreshments.
