During the. Lenten Season k is particularly fitting to practice the Golden Rule—Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. A donation of money and blood to the Red Cross is a concrete way to practice the Rule. Remember the Red Cross is active in Peace as well as in War.
The American Red Cross is, an American way for “People to help People.’ We never know when we may be the ones in need of help, but the Red Cross is ready to help should it be necessary. Lelt us keep that organization available for all and pray that we may always be able and willing to contribute but never to need.
