The Rappahannock County Chapter of the Future Farmers of America held their regular monthly meeting on March 2 in the agriculture building with Vice President J. T. Dwyer, presiding in the absence of President Kelly Updike. jThe first order of business was a discussion of a Father-Son Banquet to be held in April. It was decided that the banquet would be staged in the high school cafeteria.
The F.F.A. basketball team lost out in the finals to Luray by a score of 29 to 28. The game proved to be a thrilling one all the way through even though Rappahannock lost.
Plans are now underway in preparation for the F.F.A. Rally in Blacksburg during June. The boys have started training for the various judging teams. It is planned to have a team to represent Rappahannock county in dairy judging, poultry judging and livestock judging.
