Christ because He didn’t com! immediately. She, however, went and told her sister, Mary, and then when she came, she fell at the feet of Jesus expressing her faith as well as manifesting her grief. When Jesus saw this, He also wept. He wept because of the cause of this sorrow and gref. That is, death is the result of sin and all human suffering and sorrow is connected one way or another with sin. He also identified Himself with their grief and then moved on to the tomb.
Now .in His conversation with Martha, Jesus declared: “I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me though he were dead yet shall he live.’’ This means that where ever Jesus is there is no death, but resurrection. That is, if we are believers in Him we don’t die spiritually. Though we die physically, that is merely the door way through which we pass frcAn this limited life into the eternal and unlimited life
