'Mrs. Annie Gore Bruce, who has 'been spending the winter in Brentwood, Maryland with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swindler, is at “Jackson Hill,” the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce, for a visit.

Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening are in Baltimore to be with their daughter, Mrs. James Stewart, who is ill and will possibly undergo an operation.

Miss Betty Lewis Snead of Madison College spent the week end with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead.

Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey and Mrs. Frank D. Coffey Sr. spent Thursday afternoon in Charlottesvlle.

Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor Jr. visited Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Weddle at Bayard on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Weddle have announced the arrival of a daughter born at the Warren Memorial hospital, Front Royal. \
