Capt. H. C. Warwick, who has been quite sick for the past few days^ is much better and hopes to be out soon.
Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Beahm and ) daughter, Beverly and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins motored t<-> ramp Kilmer, N. J., Sunday to visit Pfc. Edward F. Hawkins, who left for overseas duty this Tuesday; They visited Mrs. Beahm’s mother, Mrs. Holly Wheeler in her home in Savage, Maryland enroute to Washington. „ Little Dickie Burke of Fredericks^ fourg is sick with the measles. Miss Jo Ellen Worth of Madison College sang at the wedding of her classmate, Miss Wanda Thompson in Manassas, ^Saturday afternoon at four. She returned to her home Saturday night and was an overnight " and Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Cary. James Crane of Culpeper attended the wedding iii the afternoon Mrs. A. M. Verner was a week-end guest of her sister, Mrs. Blanche Coates of Richmond. Her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Verner remained with her brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Updike. Mr. Barker also spent the weekend in Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Price of Washington, D. C. were week-end guests of their mother, Mrs. J. W. Price and J. W. Price Jr. of "The Maples.”
