A group of Amissville ladies met Wednesday morning to learn to stencil on cloth. Mrs. Charles Green prepared a lunch for'the group. After lunch the H.D. club met and decided to (serve a luncheon April 6th (12:00 at "Fire Hall) to all H.D. ladies and their friends. At this luncheon Miss Eva Jo Liskey, home demonstration -agent in Fauquier, will talk and show slides of her visit.to Child as an If ye student. I urge all o£ you to plan to attend this event.
A turkey dinner was served iby 4-H members Saturday, March 13 to 64 persons and the county council made a profit of $46. The 4-H’ers wish to thank the 4-H leaders, parents and -others Who made this event a success. Also we wish to thank the Rappahannock County High School for use of cafeteria.
The turkey dinner was the culminating activity of the 4-H’ers in celebration of National 4-H club week. Observance of this week varied with each of the clubs:
Amissville—program for P.T.A. which included a “skit" on 4-H work.
Reager—Poster showing boys and girls project displayed at Chester Gap Post Office.
Flint Hill—Program for P.T.A. which included demonstrations or ---- Z
