Bills Are Passed
Delegate Tom Frost scored a total of 14 bills passed out of 15 introduced in the 1954 General Assembly, which adjourned after the budget battle over the weekend. A majority of Mr. Frost’s measures dealt with motor vehicle legislation.
Mr. Frost is on the important appropriations and agriculture committees of the House of Delegates, •but he said the former took most of his time. The appropriations com-, mittee held about 50 Sessions, and the agriculture committee only four.
But it was not a “do-nothing” session, Mr. Frost said on his return home. Among its accomplishments^ were amendments to make the Virginia right-to-work law enforceable. The Fauquier-Rappahannock delegate said he received many requests to support this legislation, and none to oppose it. _
