Scum us folks but it is just too hot to keep your thoughts straight and hit the right letters on this old machine.
If you don't believe it just visit us and Me how hot it can get— sitting next to a ! machine with a pot full of molten metal, kept at 550 degrees, another machine right beside you radiating the same amount of heat, and the press right behind you with a gas burner on it the size of a newspaper. All of this heat inside, plus old Sol beaming down orr the loof just above you—come try it for a few hours and you will find out what I mean. PleaM don’t blame us too much if things don’t come out the way we would like them to be. Thank goodness we have at last found an excuse for the many errors that get into the paper
