' The Flint Hill A. C.’s ran their winning streak to 8 out of 9. Sunday, as they chalked up a comfort-, . able 11-5 victory over the Rappahannock Chiefs on the Moffett diamond. John Pickrell, in top form as usual, set down 13 to the tune of strikeouts, while his team backed him up with 12 hits.

Junior Hawkins started on the mound for the Chiefs and was relieved in the 3rd, after the A.C/s

David Foster was leading bats- r man for the Flint Hill team, connecting for 3 out of 5; L. Shiflett and E. Foster, had 2 each. Edward Clark and Pete Clater

were top hitters fori the ^Chiefs with each having 2 for 4.

In the early and middle innings the Chiefs reached scoring bases several times but were unable to get a dean safe hit to score the men. Several errors and bad plays allowed the A. C.’s to! run up the margin of victory.

The A. C.’s play Oak Grove at home this Sunday at 2:30. It is their last home game of the season.
