Mr. Lulard was a veteran otWorld War; II, having been wounded in the battle 6f Anzio Beach. While in Rappahannock, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In Madison he joined the American Legion. His church membership was at Bethlehem Methodists
Burial services were conducted July 30 at Brightwood with the Reverend James Clements officiating. Active pallbearers were Ernest Hudson, Claude Southard, Joseph Ford, Carroll Lillard, Cecil Coppage and Roger Jones. The large assemblage of friends and the floral tributes gave evidence of the ' esteem in which he was held.
He is survived by his parents, his wife and daughter; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Nethers of Washington, and 6 brothers: Walter and Guy of Washington, Robert of Peola Mills, Roy of Etlan, Thomas of Silver Spring, Md. and Elmer of Chattanooga. Tennessee.
